Under the theme “Fostering Climate-Resilience and Inclusive Growth through Investment and Market Access for SMEs”, BioBloom Solutions Ltd. proudly participated in the THRIVE 2030 National Investment Forum.
The forum convened policy makers, input suppliers, off-takers, financial institutions, and producer groups to spark practical collaboration. Designed to support over 24,000 smallholder farmers in 900 producer groups, the event focused on expanding market access, accelerating investment, and sharing workable models for climate resilience across Zambia’s agricultural value chains. For BioBloom, this was an opportunity to exchange field insights, validate new partnerships, and demonstrate how targeted nutrition strategies translate directly into measurable farm outcomes.
As an exhibitor, BioBloom Solutions Ltd. showcased a focused range of livestock nutrition solutions and implementation checklists. Our conversations centered on feeding programs for dairy, beef, goats, and poultry, with an emphasis on seasonal ration adjustments, mineral balance, and heat-stress mitigation. Visitors could review practical, step-by-step guidance for improving intake consistency, stabilizing rumen function, and enhancing feed conversion without inflating cost per unit of output. We also discussed procurement planning and storage hygiene, two highly actionable levers for maintaining feed quality through variable weather.

When farms can demonstrate reliable intake, growth rates, and milk solids, lenders gain the confidence to extend facilities that match production rhythms. This link between technical performance and finance is central to scaling the impact of climate-smart practices.
From Value Chains to On-Farm Results
The forum spotlighted key value chains including goats, poultry, dairy, rice, beans, groundnuts, soybeans, honey, and horticulture. Our contribution focused on livestock performance within these systems, because consistent animal output supports household income, stabilizes cash flow, and improves market reliability. In practice, this means daily habits: correct mineralization, ration balancing by stage, and practical guardrails against heat stress. By combining those habits with targeted products, farmers protect productivity even as weather conditions shift.
Looking ahead, we are prioritizing joint pilots with producer groups where training modules and product access move together. The objective is simple: a 90-day improvement plan that farms can implement immediately—tracking intake, weight gain or milk yield, and cost per unit of output. With short feedback loops, producers see cause and effect quickly, reinforcing adoption and creating the basis for scale.
